چکیده

Abstract APETALA2/ethylene response element binding proteins (AP2/EREBP) are a vital type of TF involved in plant organ development and embryogenesis. In this study we identified 202 Litchi AP2/EREBP TFs from the litchi genome. They were classified into four subfamilies by phylogenetic clustering, including AP2s (20), ERFs (112), DREBs (64), RAVs (6). Analysis conserved domains, motifs, gene structure, genome localization carried out to investigate evolutionary features AP2/EREBPs. Over 35% expansion AP2/EREBPs resulted tandem duplication. The majority genomic organizations conservative, except those AP2 subfamily, which had no intron contained less conservative motif numbers. expression profiles ten tissues investigated using RNA-Seq data fifty-nine showed tissue-specific expressions. Their patterns confirmed qRT-PCR with eight tissues-specificity genes. Six genes related embryogenesis map orthologous interaction between Arabidopsis litchi. This paper is comprehensive report on characteristics superfamily. It will serve further explore regulatory mechanisms somatic provide information for molecular breeding.

Identification and expression profile analysis of the sucrose phosphate synthase gene family in Litchi chinensis Sonn.

Sucrose phosphate synthase (SPS, EC 2.4.1.14) is a key enzyme that regulates sucrose biosynthesis in plants. SPS is encoded by different gene families which display differential expression patterns and functional divergence. Genome-wide identification and expression analyses of SPS gene families have been performed in Arabidopsis, rice, and sugarcane, but a comprehensive analysis of the SPS gen...

Cloning and Expression Analysis of Litchi (Litchi Chinensis Sonn.) Polyphenol Oxidase Gene and Relationship with Postharvest Pericarp Browning

Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) plays a key role in the postharvest pericarp browning of litchi fruit, but its underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study, we cloned the litchi PPO gene (LcPPO, JF926153), and described its expression patterns. The LcPPO cDNA sequence was 2120 bps in length with an open reading frame (ORF) of 1800 bps. The ORF encoded a polypeptide with 599 amino acid residues,...

Antioxidant Efficacy of Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) Pericarp Extract in Sheep Meat Nuggets

In the present study, the efficacy of litchi fruit pericarp (LFP) extract (0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5% concentration) in retarding lipid oxidation of cooked sheep meat nuggets was evaluated and compared to butylated hydroxyl toluene (BHT, 100 ppm). The total phenolic content and antioxidant potential of LFP extracts were determined. The thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) values were evaluat...

Changes in phenolic compounds in Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) fruit during postharvest storage

Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn. cv. Huaizhi) fruit were stored at ambient temperature (20–25°C) for up to 7 days and at 4°C for up to 35 days for separation, purification and identification of individual phenolic compounds and investigation of their changes during postharvest storage. Results indicate that flavan-3-ol monomers and dimers were major phenolic compounds representing about 87.0% of ...

Identifying Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) Cultivars and Their Genetic Relationships Using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) Markers

Litchi is an important fruit tree in tropical and subtropical areas of the world. However, there is widespread confusion regarding litchi cultivar nomenclature and detailed information of genetic relationships among litchi germplasm is unclear. In the present study, the potential of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) for the identification of 96 representative litchi accessions and their gene...
